Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Vanguard Ventures SAS (trading as Vanguard Vision AI and OneID) collects, uses, stores and protects personal data, and how data subjects can exercise their rights. It is issued in compliance with Article 15 of the Colombian Constitution, Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 (compiled in Decree 1074 of 2015) and the guidelines of the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC).

Vanguard builds AI-native trust infrastructure. Through OneID we provide digital identity verification services (document verification, biometric verification and liveness detection, risk screening and digital signature) to financial institutions, savings and credit cooperatives, enterprises and public entities in Latin America. OneGraph and OneCore connect verified identities with institutional data to automate decisions and workflows.

When a client institution uses OneID to verify its own customers, members or citizens, that institution is the data controller and Vanguard acts as a data processor (encargado del tratamiento) under a written agreement. The processing of those verification data, including biometric data, is governed by the client's privacy policy and the authorization the client obtains from each person. This page covers the data that Vanguard collects directly as a controller, mainly through this website.

• Contact requests. When you write to us we receive your name, email address, organization, phone number and the content of your message.
• Job applications. Name, email, phone, résumé or CV, cover letter, links you share (for example LinkedIn or a portfolio) and the answers you give in the application form.
• Accounts. Where account creation is enabled: name, email, password (stored as a salted hash), role, two-factor authentication settings and the security events of the account (logins, password changes).
• Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and timestamps, collected in server logs and in security records (rate limiting, audit logs). We do not use advertising trackers on this website.

• Answer your requests and manage the commercial relationship with your institution.
• Evaluate job applications and manage recruitment processes.
• Create and secure user accounts and prevent fraud or abuse of the website.
• Operate, secure and improve the website and comply with legal obligations.
• Send information about Vanguard products and events, only when you have authorized it. You can withdraw this authorization at any time.

We do not request sensitive data (such as biometric or health data) through this website. Where OneID processes biometric data on behalf of a client, it is done with the express, prior and informed authorization of the data subject and with the safeguards required by Law 1581 of 2012. Answering questions about sensitive data is always optional. Our services are not directed at minors; any processing of data of minors is done only when required by law and respecting their best interests.

We share personal data only with providers that help us operate (cloud hosting, databases, email delivery and analytics of our own infrastructure), bound by confidentiality and data-processing agreements, and with authorities when the law requires it. Some of these providers store data outside Colombia, in countries that provide an adequate level of protection or under contractual safeguards, as allowed by Law 1581 of 2012. We do not sell personal data.

We keep personal data only for as long as the purpose requires or the law demands. Job applications are kept for up to two years unless you ask us to delete them earlier. We apply technical, administrative and organizational measures to protect the data: encryption in transit, hashed credentials, role-based access, audit logs and rate limiting.

Under Article 8 of Law 1581 of 2012 you have the right to:

• know, update and rectify your personal data;
• request proof of the authorization you granted;
• be informed about how your data has been used;
• file complaints with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC);
• revoke your authorization and request deletion of your data when the processing does not respect the law or this policy;
• access your personal data free of charge.

Send your request to admin@vanguardvision.ai or by post to our registered office at Calle 9 # 31-101 Int 906, Medellín, Antioquia 050021, Colombia, stating your full name, identification, the right you want to exercise and the facts, and attaching any supporting documents. Queries are answered within ten (10) business days and claims within fifteen (15) business days, as set out in Articles 14 and 15 of Law 1581 of 2012. If we cannot meet these deadlines we will inform you of the reasons and the new date, which will not exceed the legal extension. You can also visit our contact page.
